500+ km Range, Under $50K: Meet the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is now arriving at dealerships, offering an EPA-estimated range of 513 km on FWD models. Starting at $48,199, this stylish, well-equipped electric SUV features GM's Ultium Platform, advanced safety technologies, and a spacious, modern interior. With both FWD and eAWD configurations, the Equinox EV is designed to meet diverse driving needs, making it an exciting addition to Chevrolet's electric vehicle lineup.

An Affordable, Well-Equipped Electric SUV

The 2024 Equinox EV boasts an impressive EPA-estimated range of 513 km for the front-wheel drive (FWD) models. Pricing starts at an MSRP of $48,199 for the well-equipped 2LT FWD trim, while the range-topping 3RS eAWD (all-wheel drive) variant commands $55,899. A more affordable base LT trim will also be available later this year.

Underpinned by GM's advanced Ultium Platform, the Equinox EV offers a choice of FWD and eAWD configurations tailored to meet diverse driving needs. True to its nameplate, this EV emphasizes style, interior space, cutting-edge safety technologies, and exceptional value.

A Striking Design Inside and Out

The Equinox EV's expressive design exudes an athletic, bold presence unmistakably recognizable as a Chevy SUV. Sleek lines and sporty proportions enabled by the Ultium Platform create a dynamic silhouette. Innovative walk-up lighting with front and rear animations, striking wheel designs up to 21 inches, and distinctive two-tone roof options further elevate its curb appeal.

Step inside, and you're greeted by a streamlined, modern cabin with seating for five and ample cargo space of up to 1,614 litres. Personalized multi-colour ambient lighting, smart infotainment powered by Google Built-in, and available comfort amenities like heated seats and a heated steering wheel create a truly premium experience.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Safety

At the heart of the Equinox EV's tech suite is a massive 17.7-inch infotainment display. Chevrolet's MyChevrolet app streamlines navigation and route planning by providing access to over 174,000 public charging stations across the U.S. and Canada.

Safety remains a top priority, and the Equinox EV delivers with Chevy's comprehensive Safety Assist suite. This includes advanced features like Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Front Pedestrian Braking, and more. For an added layer of confidence, Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology is available for compatible roads.

Impressive Performance and Capability

The Equinox EV promises an exhilarating driving experience with its standard FWD system producing 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. For those seeking even more capability, the eAWD variant cranks out 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque. One-Pedal Driving paired with regenerative braking maximizes range and efficiency.

Comprehensive charging solutions include standard 11.5 kW Level 2 charging for up to 54 km of range per hour, and DC fast-charging for an estimated 112 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Chevrolet backs the Equinox EV's battery with an 8-year/160,000-km limited warranty, providing peace of mind for the long haul. The EV also caters to both fleet and retail customers, offering zero-emissions driving, reduced maintenance costs, and potential fuel savings – especially appealing for high-mileage fleet operators.
