Chevrolet Corvette Z06: pricing is out

Prices for the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 are now known. Sure, they're higher than the base versions, but considering everything you get in return, it's still one of the best deals on the market for any performance car enthusiast.

So here's what the new 2023 Z06 looks like.

On the menu, there will be three variants of the model, 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ. For each, it will be possible to opt for a coupe body or a convertible. A quick count gives us six Corvette Z06s.

The coupe models will be available for $128,198 (1LZ), $138,198 (2LZ) and $144,198 (3LZ). Moving on to the convertible versions, we'll find, in the same order, bills of $137,198, $147,198, and $153,198. Transportation and preparation costs, $2295, are included in the total.

Of course, the offer doesn't end there, as different option packages can be added to the model, each enhancing the level of appearance and performance.

One that's sure to be a hit is the Z07 Performance Package, priced at $10,344. It features the FE7 suspension, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and Pilot 2R ZP tires that are designed to help you break track records.

To get your hands on this package, you need to opt for the carbon fiber aero package, a package that not only enhances the car's style, but also its handling. It includes a larger front air splitter, a pedestal-mounted rear spoiler, and underbody aerodynamic fins. You have the choice of a package where the carbon fiber is visible or painted; prices are $4595 or $3444, in that order.

Carbon fiber is also featured on the rims. It lightens the vehicle's suspended mass by 41 pounds. As you know, weight is the enemy of performance. With fewer pounds and these wheels, the Corvette Z06 promises to be even sharper. The asking price for these wheels is $13,794 if the carbon fiber is visible, $11,494 if it's painted.

Of course, there are other secrets to be discovered about this Z06. What's extraordinary is the level of performance you get for the price. It's literally stunning.

Circle July 28 on your calendar; that's when the model will be available to order.
